About
Big Lake Contracting, LLC is a locally-owned, family business that continues to grow as Northern Minnesota's excavating/contracting provider of choice. Owner, Kevin Middleton started moving dirt to subside their families construction company in 2013. Throughout the construction process, Kevin found a passion for running equipment. This was why, in 2013, he decided to run with his dream and start his own company, Big Lake Contracting, LLC, where he could focus and expand on excavation, septic systems, concrete and epoxy flooring.

Kevin and his crew did an awesome job building me a new garage and waterproofing my foundation! I had them back the following year to do a stamped concrete patio. 10/10 will continue to hire them for future needs!
Kevin and crew installed my much needed holding tank. Highly recommend!!!
Kevin and his crew are awesome. They put in our new septic system, did the dirt work for our new house and poured the concrete. Everything turned out perfect, including our concrete, it even impressed our builder. Thanks Big Lake!
